XP Pro backup program

Hello:

XP pro comes with a backup program that works fine when running it manually.
But I have tried to schedule weekly backups using both the schedule within
the backup program and scheduled tasks program. Neither are working. The only
thing that I can think of is, it wants a password but the system has NO
password and the whole idea is to have the job run automatically

IOW, the automatic/scheduled backups never run. Is there something I'm
missing?
I use the wizard to set the schedule too.

A "blank" password is not acceptable, so if you want to use that
feature, use a password. Also if you are "backing up" to a remote drive
you will need to replace the drive letter with the UNC location.
