XP Pro Auto Complete

Although when I am asked if I want the computer to remember my password when
I sign into various things on the internet I say 'yes', next time I try to
sign into anythig it does not auto complete.

I have auto complete switched on and it worked in XP Home, just not XP Pro.

Any ideas what I can do to cure this?

Hi Road Runner,

Not as far as I know but I'm not used to XP Pro! It's allowing cookies from
websites I visit, just not the user name and passwords.

It's the same with my Outlook, have to put my password everytime I open
that as well.

Autocomplete is definitely on. It's driving me mad now!

Hmmmm ... Again by chance would your computer be an brand name type , like
Dell or IBM , HP ... I have a friend that has an HP computer and he too has
the same problems , Talk with there tech people and they said it has
something to do with what they install on there preinstall computer as to
why it doesn't work , I myself found that strange to be but its only true
though

It's a Compaq but all was working well with XP Home, it just went pear shaped
when I upgraded to Pro.

Just can't figure it at all.

Try one or both of the fixes here. Lines 13 right side and line 37 right
hand side.
