XP Pro and W2K in same Workgroup - Can't see either

Trying to set up a very basic network to share a printer
connected to a W2K system so my XP Pro laptop can print.
Both systems are connected to a Linksys router/switch and
getting IPs by DHCP. Can ping each from the other but can
not see either when using Network Place. Have enabled
NetBIOS over TCP/IP on the XP system. Have NetBEUI
checked on W2K system. Have shared the printer on the W2K
system. This should be simple but it is turning out not
the case! Suggestions?

Thanks

I had to install ipx/spx on both machines then I was able
to print on my network. Let us know if it helps.

Remove NetBEUI and use TCP/IP as the only network protocol. Using
more than one protocol can disrupt network browsing.

Make sure that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled (not default) on both
computers:

1. Open the Network Connections folder.
2. Right click the local area network connection and click Properties.
3. Double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
4. Click Advanced.
5. Click WINS.
6. Click the Enable NetBIOS Over TCP/IP button.

Shared printers don't appear in My Network Places -- only shared disks
and folders do. To see a shared printer, click "View workgroup
computers" and the click the computer that has the shared printer.
