XP Pro and Thrustmaster wheel

I understand from Thrustmaster that their Ferrari 360 Modena wheel will only
work under XP Pro is it's connected via USB, but my colleague's wheel only
has a standard gameport connection.

If I get a gameport-USB adaptor, does anyone know if it'll work OK?

It "might" Bob, and then again it might not. Have you tried connecting it
to the game port, then going into Control Panel/Game Controllers and doing
an Add with one of the four Thrustmaster selections?
