XP pc showing up as a Media Device

Here's another Vista/XP networking issue...

I have a Dell XP pc which has all my pictures on it and other stuff thati
want to acess which are all in folders with sharing turned on. I can't see
any of these in the network app of Vista. Instead, the Dell shows up as a
Media Device, and I guess its only looking for the media in the MS Shared
Folders.

The Dell is running some media server software, but it is not running Media
Center. I'd rather it didn't show up as a Media Device and just show up as a
computer with shared folders. Vista help did not seem helpful.

How can I change the Dell from a Media Device to just a regular Computer?

Thanks,
Joe
