"Computer" vs. "Media Device"

I have a very mixed network - x64 Vista laptop, x86 Vista laptop, x86 (XP)
MCE 2005 desktop dual booted with Win7 RC.

Frequently, when I am running the desktop in XP mode, it shows on the
network as "Media Devices" and I cannot navigate the shared folders as
usual. When I run the desktop in Win7 it shows both as a "Computer" which I
can navigate and as a "Media Device." I must have something out of kilter
in my XP MCE network settings. What should I check?

Turn off media sharing via Window Media Player on all the machines that show
up in Network Neighborhood as a Media Sharing Device.

Tools -> Options -> Library tab -> Configure Sharing... button

Uncheck "Share my media to:"

Uncheck "Find media that others are sharing" doesn't seem to do it, maybe
require a reboot.
