XP paging system

When I start up a message says paging system is too
small. I do what it says to do, however, when I chose a
custom size and click set-the memory that I customize
never gets alloted even after I reboot. Any suggestions
 
I have seen this very same error and have searched the
news groups and referenced many areas and I have not yet
seen any solutions posted. I have the problem as well.
Please help, people.
