XP (or linux?) drivers for Microtek i320?

Picked up a Microtek i320 scanner at auction and it appears to be in
good shape but came without any drivers or other software so I
haven't had any luck getting so much as a single scan. I plugged this
into a brand-new Windows XP box and XP couldn't figure out on its own
what kind of USB device it was, so I guess I'm supposed to
pre-install a driver. Has anyone got one? I scanned the internet but
didn't see what I was looking for.

Bonus points if anyone has written a driver for linux (Mandrake 10.1)
but it looks from web pages I've seen that no one has
provided any linux support...
