XP not recognizing my speakers

HI

I just had to totally reinstall XP on my machine and the system is not
recognizing that my speakers are hooked up. It just says "No Audio Device"

Any help would be appreciated

You sound card drivers are not correctly installed in XP. Speakers are not
normally detected by XP, unless they are USB basaed. Located and install
your sound card drivers and all should be okay with the speakers.
