At some point during download/installaiton of upgrade to
Norton Internet Security, the program started acting as
if I was setting up securtiy as an administrator of the
program but I can't even log on as the person. In
meantime in troubleshooting my XP software got messed up.
Internet Explorer, microsoft update, system restore all
won't work. Reinstalled XP (including obtaining new auth
code) and nothing changed. System says I need to be a
system administrator to conduct certain actios. Have
account set up as computer administrator. Don't know what
I did to lose ability to run the programs or make changes.
