xp & Nero

I just bought a memorex cd burner and it came with Nero
burning program. When I go to load Nero I get an internal
error message 2254,. feature.

Does anyone know what this means or how to get nero to
load properly? I'm perplexed and have an over glorified
cd rom drive with out being able to get Nero to load up...

As far as I know, you cannot install the downloaded version over the one you
got with your drive.

try to download the newest one from the Ahead homeside.
Uninstal your version
Install the new one, and from here on you can update with the versions from
the homesite.
