Memorex DVD Multi Format recorder 18x

Hello all,
I installed a Memorex multi format 18x DVD reader/recorder and have a quick
question.
My previous LG DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive allowed me to drag and drop files within
Windows XP (home edition, SP2)
The new drive works using Nero but the drag & drop feature does not.
Memorex Tech support said that they recommend using the Nero software
included with the drive since it is a know quantity.
They directed me toward Microsoft for info on the OS.
Microsoft was a bust. (I'm Shocked!)

Does anyone here have a DVD-RW drive that allows them to drag and drop (and
then burn) from within windows explorer or does everyone use a third party
application to accomplish this.
Thanks!

Nero's "drag & drop" feature is known as InCD. This is a separate
module and usually used with RW media.

Nero / InCD is only really required when using DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW
and DVD+RW media. Microsoft's "drag and drop" functionality still
should work with CD-R(W) media disks.

I'll try again but I think it wouldn't work with CD-R discs.
The Nero Express seems to work (I am trying it now)
The Nero Backup Agent works but is a little cumbersome. Nice if you are
backing up a massive number of files across multiple discs but I am only
selecting certian directories for backup.

Thanks!

Incd is not installed by default when you install nero. You have to go back
to the nero program and choose custom and pick Incd.

I unloaded alot of the other apps. just going to use the InCD, The Express 7
Essentials, and BackItUp2 Essentials.
Thanks for the help. I may post if all works according to plan.
