xp media edition, Palm sync

Palm device will not hot sync with Windows xp Media Edition. Any fixes,
patches?

Yes I did. They didn't offer any help, Just said use a different computer w/o Media Edition. There were a couple of suggestion from their forum. Tried one and couldn't figure out how to do the other.

There are other applications and hardware that just won't work, or doesn't
work properly, with Media Edition, such as audio recording hardware.

If Palm says that it won't work, they are in the best position to know.
