XP Media Center and Notebook Computers

Does anyone know if there are any manufacturers offering
notebook computers with XP Media Center?

Media Center Edition of Windows XP is an OEM product.
It is specifically designed for use on Media Center PCs, that meet a certain
hardware requirement (just like TabletPC edition).
Since TabletPCs lack the high end graphics capabilities, TV card, large
harddisk, DVD reader, great sound support etc etc etc that a Media Center PC
requires, you will not see an OEM put Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004
on a Tablet PC.

Why would you possibly want it on a Tablet ?

I'm going to guess that a lot of people would like to control it via a
tablet-like PC.

tablet-like PC.

In that case they just use their Tablet PC wireless connection to connect to
the Media Center PC and Remote Desktop it.

Mike, can you comment on the deletition of concurrent session's that was to
be added in SP2? This would of come into play nicely to do just that.

Unfortunately at this time Windows XP SP2 functionality is not available for
general discussion due to the rapidly changing nature of the development
program and certain security issues around SP2.
