XP loads WinExplorer on boot up

Can anyone tell me how to make Windows XP home stop
loading Windows Explorer opened to C:\windows\system32\
when I boot up? No big deal but it is annoying. I have
checed all of the usual suspects; start up menus,
autoexec.bat, config, etc. Any help is appreciated./

I tried this fix and it said that it could not find the expected
registry entry. What do you suggest?
