XP license installed on several PC's

A company I did some work for purchased a single license for an XP upgrade
and installed it on several computers. We are approaching the 30 day
registration cut-off and they need to purchase individual licenses for these
machines. How do I install the new product ID in these machines (without
reinstalling the entire OS from scratch) so when we go to register them they
will have the correct registration info?

Otherwise a Repair Installation may be required:
Repair Installation:

Windows Updates will need to be reinstalled.
Data should be safe, back-up important data just in case.
Install Service Pack first and by itself.
Then install ALL Critical Updates no more than 4 at a time,

Disconnect the network/modem cable before starting repair and do NOT
reconnect the cable until repair is completed and firewall is
installed/enabled.
