xp laptop no longer able to access home wireless network

Our home network consists of an ethernet-connected desktop and two wireless
laptops connected via a Linksys 54g router. Partner's laptop also connects
to a similar 54g wireless network at his office (which I set up). Up until a
few days ago partner's laptop was able to switch between the two wireless
networks without problem. But on 8/7/04 he tried to connect to our home
network and first was told there was an IP conflict. However, he was still
able to connect to the network...until he also turned on the desktop, which
caused him to be kicked off the network. Since that time he always gets a
"wireless connection unavailable" error, even though his laptop can see the
home wireless network and can still connect with no problems to the work
wireless network. Also, both the desktop and my own laptop can still connect
to the home network without problems.

DHCP is enabled all around, and the router seems to have no trouble
assigning IPs to any other connected device (desktop, my laptop, print
server)...and partner's laptop accepts an IP on the work network (also DHCP
enabled). But at home partner's laptop is not in the DHCP active IP table.

I've exhausted my own limited knowledge (see my signature below). Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please reply via the community.
