XP keeps trying to install HP D2330 printer

Just bought a Deskjet D2330.

On boot, hardware was found, and it requested CD.

Installed just fine.

However, on each subsequent reboot, it keeps "finding" the new hardware and
asking me to re-install the same drivers!

What should I do?
 
On many installations you must run installation CD BEFORE connecting
printer;
could it be this.

Seems right. On the last reboot, I eschewed the automatic install and went
with the CD install.

I will report if any further problems.
