I have gotten a message trying to remove a piece of
software through Add & Remove Programs:
"1: The InstallScript on this machine is older that the
version required to run setup. If available, please
install the latest version is ISScript.msi."
Everywhere I look has Windows installer 2.0 for other
OS's, but not XP. Where can I get 'the latest version'
for XP?
(I accidentally installed MSN Messenger version 6.x which
I later learned was for Win98. I have since removed it
and am back to version 4.x for WinXP. I thought maybe I
screwed up Windows Installer by doing that.)
