XP Installation - Blue Screen

Gustavo

On a new PC with mother board ASUS P4s533-E, Intel p4
2.4, 512 mB, and a 80GB HD, with a CD WR, and a DVD WR.
I'm trying to install a new copy of Windows XP, and after
it start coping the files on to the hard drive it gives
error on some files and after that it appears a blue
screen, it says page_fault_in_nonpaged_area. I've done
the process several times and didn't work. On article
282195 says to disable the Legacy USB support on the BIOS
and still didn't work. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Gus

Remove all non-essential hardware from the machine and try it clean. If you
cant get a clean installation of Windows on the machine then you most likley
have a hardware configuration issue. Also, try running our memory checker
to make sure it isnt bad RAM:
