Is it possible to find the XP install date? I can't remember when I
installed XP Pro to my system and would like to find this date.

Open a command prompt window and enter

systeminfo

Gives you all sorts of info including the piece that you are looking
for.

get the free Aida 32, enterprise edition from
http://www.aida32.hu/aida-download.php?bit=32
which is an excellent general System Info tool,

Its Operating System - Operating system section includes this, decoded
from the registry. Note that if you do a 'repair' reinstall the date
given will be of that.

Also its Software - Licenses page will tell you the Product Keys used
for Windows and for several other items.

I tried that. It runs but then closes right out. Is there anyway to keep the
window open to view the info?

Are you opening a command window first, or just trying to run that command from Start, Run? My guess is the second. Click Start, Run, type in cmd click OK. Now in the command window type systeminfo and press Enter.
