XP incompatible with version 7 of Internet Explorer?

O

oldandpoor

I've been having some problems with Windows XP and Version 7 of Internet
Explorer. Is there a fix available at the main website for these issues?
And if so, how do I get to where the downloads are, and which one is it? Is
this really true, that there is some incompatibility between the two? I'm
sorry, I'm being SO stupid this morning. GG

I'm no good at mind reading, my ex can attest to that! For starters
since we aren't where you are and can see what your computer is doing,
it's very difficult for us to give you an answer to your question. So
please describe to us what it is you are trying to do, and what is
happening. Also please include the exact text of any error messages
that may be displayed.

There are no known or reported compatibility issues between IE7 and XP.

Turn off your IE add-ons (the 3rd party stuff) and I bet your problem
disappears. There are lots of reported problems with various versions of
various add-ons.

IE7 is compatble with XP and works very well. As others have said,
you'll have to give more descriptive information about your problems.
Seems like Heybub had a decent response too.
