XP Home

I live in the UK and I am considering purchasing a laptop from Germany.

The laptop will, I assume, have a German version of XP on it. I obviously
want English words on the screen.

Can I change the configuration of the XP, or will I need an English version?

I have seen a thread for a similar question, but that was from sometime ago,
so I wondered if XP was now multilingual.

Many thanks in advance.

You will have to purchase an English version of the OS if you want to use
the computer in English.

If you wish to have an English version of Windows XP Home,
then you'll have to purchase an English version of Windows XP
to begin with. Your best bet is to purchase your new computer
locally and not from a different country.
