XP Home with Symantec Antivirus managed mode.

About three months ago, I purchase 15 computers with XP
Home. I installed Symantec Antivirus on all of them.
They all were installed in the managed mode. (mangaged
by a server running Symantec Antivirus Server) I just
recently purchased two more systems with XP Home and the
did not accept the managed mode of Symantec Antivirus. I
called Symantec and they said that the Antivirus will not
work in the managed mode on XP Home. I told them that it
is running on my other ones with XP Home. They said
maybe some companies (Compaq) change around the
operatiing systems and that is why they are working on
the others. Some kind of additional networking. They
said I need XP Pro. There must be some setting I can
change in XP Home to make this work on my other two
systems, because the work on the first ones with XP Home.

So the questions that are to be answered are, "Who did you get the 15
computers from?" and "What did they do to them that makes them work?"

XP Home does not allow to connecting to a Windows "domain" which Symantec
A/V may be looking for??
