XP Home with no icons

Desktop icons all missing from XP Home.
Programs are pesent but not available on desktop.
No problem with programs in tray.

Hi Jim,

It depends on a couple of factors/settings. Can you right click the
desktop/Arrange Icons By/Show Desktop Icons? If not run the edit on line

Did you get any feed back on this issue? Now you say
that the programs are all there? do you have a start
menu? Or is your screen Completely blue?
