Hi,
I have Dell Inspiron 5100 with Windows XP home edition (SP2). I have
partitioned hard drive into 3 volumes (C, E, F). C is boot volume.
When computer starts up, it says volume E is dirty and runs CHKDSK. It
doesn't find any bad sectors. Computer starts as normal. I tried to run
CHKDSK manually from GUI. It just checks and computer starts withour any
repairs.
Here are the details:

Checking file system on E:
The type of the file system is NTFS.

The volume is dirty.
Windows has checked the file system and found no problems.
