XP Home Task Manager

I am unable to open my task manager. It comes up on
screen for a second or two, then disappears. I have tried
everything from right clicking on the start bar at the
bottom, to cntrl-alt-del. Nothing works.

I am alo not able to play games on my pc, they seem to
load fine, but crash when they are executed. I'm not sure
if these two things are related...

w32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

Try this to:

Rename regedit.exe to regedit.com then:

Download then Merge the edit on line 251 then delete all the files mentioned
in the above link.
