XP Home startup issue

My wife's laptop, running XP Home, has suddenly started requiring her to
view what is, I guess, the Windows Welcome screen. It is now forcing her
to click on her name to get Windows started. Until I installed
QuickBooks 2006 a few days ago, all she had to do was turn her laptop on
and bingo, well, eventually, the Windows desktop was there.

I have the same version of QuickBooks installed on my PC and am not
required to go through extraneous steps to get to Windows desktop. She
finds this new step a pain, and frankly, I find it annoying that things
change without any user input. And, I find it annoying to add steps to
do the same thing.

Anyone have any idea how to undo this???

Go to start | Run, type "control userpasswords2" Select the account you want
to logon to automatically. Then uncheck the box "Users must enter a user
name and password to use this computer."

Or do the same thing with TweakUI.

The Welcome to Windows screen appears when you start
Windows XP after you install the .NET Framework 1.1
