grrr..after 48 hrs.. i am defeated.. I was directed to
place xp cd in drive to help reconnect to internet well...
the nightmare began.. the setup will not complete itself..
it stops at 34 percent and restarts and restarts and so on
til infinity. I have tried the recovery console to no
avail and thought, tried every trick i could think of I am
able it simply will not stop trying to reinstall itself no
matter what. My once blond hair is now looking grey and im
out on rolaids. Please I beg for help... thank you.

sorry not worried about internet anymore.. I cant even
get xp to stop trying to reinstall itself lol.. another I
only put cd in and tried to find drivers for some setup
files and was advised (bad advise..grr) to reinstall or
run setup program again.. this failed miserably I am
unable to stop this setup program. It gets past the
installation of drivers but while setting up windows it
stops at 34 percent and reboots itself this repeats
repeats repeats like a loop. I have tried the recovery
counsel... failed .. I have tried every single option in
advance startup options ex: safemdm safemd/ntwrk, last
known good etc.. ALL FAILS. I also have windows me on
this harddrive and always have I can choose either xp or
me when comp starts up this has never been a problem ..it
still isnt I dont believe. I just wish I could use my xp
the files are still there and I can access them from Me.I
really really do not want to reformat and lose all my
beloved stuff in xp. I am perplexed and sad I cant use my
xp.. anyone have even a vague idea what the problem is?
