XP Home - no remote registry service

I'm running XP home SP2. the remote registry service doesn't appear in the
list of services. i assume it should be there. how do i install it? i can't
find anything in the KB. thanks for any help,

I wanted to run the baseline security analyzer on a mixed xp network. the
documentation says i need the remote registry service running.
