xp home networking in schools

i have xp home and have tried to connect to my school
network but i cant - a technician said i need xp pro - is
this true? how can i upgrade?

Is your school network set up as a domain? If so, you need XP Pro to
log into it. The people at your school are the only ones who can tell
you for sure.

You can buy a Windows XP Professional upgrade at computer and office
supply stores.
