XP Home network issue

J

Jack MC

I have 3 workstations running XP home edition.

I have setup a workgroup, and shared printers and files.
File and Print shareing is active, Client for Microsoft
networks is active, and the tcp/ip protocol is active.
All of the workstations are connected thru a Lynksys
router. All of the workstations can get out to the
internet. All of the workstations are using DHCP for the
IP configuration.

The problem is that none of the workstations in the
workgroup can see each other or any of the shared devices
or files.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Check to see if Simple File Sharing is enabled. If it is Disable it on all
PC's. To view go to Tools, Folder Options, View, scroll all the way to the
bottom.

Peace.
