xp home locks up

nansus

new computer, new xp, boots up freezes after welcome
screen. any idea? (no mouse, keyboard, ctrl-alt-del) must
reboot
 
Login to Safe Mode by pressing F8 while the pc is booting and then go to
START / RUN / MSCONFIG

Got to the Start Tab and there you can see what is being loaded when windows
boots up. You can uncheck any items you wish.
