I have 2 pc's both with xp home, networked with a hub. I
also have a t1 broadband connection which i want to share
between them.
I pulled the broadband modem into the hub with a LAN
cable, but only one computer can use the net at one time,
the other pc will display the cannot find server page in
iexplorer. Is there anything i can do to fix this or do i
need a router.

Ideas welcome cheers

If you want to use more than one computer on the internet simultaneously, you'll
need either a proxy or router.

Here are a couple websites with useful tutorials:

http://www.practicallynetworked.com/

For cheap, you can't beat Analogx Proxy:

Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.

The page above was written by me ages ago. You might ignore the prices and
Brand recommendations. The principles however are still the same.Connection
