I did a clean installed of Xp home on Soyo sy-k7v dragon mother board. On
Posting the BIOS indicated that the primary ide master was WDC hard drive and
the slave was none. The secondary ide master was Iomega 250 zip drive and the
slave was CD-RW. The boot sequence was hard (0), CD-RW and floppy. After the
installation MY Computer showed that the zip drive as C:, the CD-RW as D: and
the hard disk as E:. I have done a number of clean Xp installation and I have
never seen this happen. The system appears to be operate normally except that
on Xp boot the it looks for a disk in the zip drive which I just cancel to
continue. Has anyone shared this experience?

Common problem when you have zip drive attached during the install. The
only way around it remove the zip drive, and reinstall windows. Then
attach the zip drive.
