xp home installation problems

Please I need help to solve this:
I was trying to install winxp home in my computer but
always stop responding at the registering components 13 %
during the installation process.

Uninstall any antivirus program (if upgrading) and physically disconnect
all peripheral hardware devices except the monitor, mouse and keyboard.

It is a clean installation and I have everything

disconnect except mouse,KB and monitor, any clue????
