"Invalid Boot.ini" or "Windows Could Not Start" Error Messages When You
Start Your Computer
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=330184

Hi,

I'm running Windows XP Home eddition and resantly I get an
error message when I reboot my computer. The error message
says "Invalid Boot.ini file. Booting from C:\windows\".
The computer boot's up as it should after the error
message, and is running as it should.
I have run several searches for the "Boot.ini file, but
there are non on my computer. I did make sure that all
hidden files are shown, including the ones that you have
to sett a switch in the register to see. But still
no "Boot.ini" file

Question:
1 How can I create a "Boot.ini" file?
2 What should be in the file?

If anyone knows how to fix this problem PLEAS respond
directly to (e-mail address removed).

Thanks for your help, Håkan
