XP Home Edition - Toshiba Combo DVD/CD-RW Drive SD-R1002

I have a Combo DVD/CD-RW Drive SD-R1002 which I have been using with Windows
ME, but since upgrading to Windows XP Home edition I can't read any
unfinished CD's or write any CD's. The drive does play audio and read
finished CD's.

XP does recognise the drive as a DVD/CD-RW but whenever I try to copy to it
I get the error "THERE IS NO DISC IN THE DRIVE".

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

What burning software are you using? Cd creator 4 is not compatible with XP.

I'm using Instant Write Copyright ©1997-2000 VOB Computersysteme GmbH. It
came bundled with the Toshiba drive.
