XP home edition. Task manager, only the process page shows

When I access the task manager, only the process page
shows. To cancel the task manager I have to select the
taskmgr.exe and end process.
Selecting task manager from the task bar (rigght click.
I would like the taskmanager's other functions to be
visible.

Double click any where on the border and the tabs, etc. will reappear.
