XP Home Edition preventing pop ups

I recently did something with in windows XP to prevent
pop ups. The problem is I dont rememeber what I did and
now I cant remotely log in to my citrix server in my
office. Does anyone know what I did and how to reverse
it?

Most liekly you enabled the Windows XP Firewall.

.In a computer mag recently I found this (go to the run

box and type services.msc choose the messenger service and
set it to disabled by right clicking on it and choosing
properties)this stopped pop ups for me this may be what
you did.
