XP Home Edition Pass-Through to NT 4.0 Server

If you re-name an XP Home Edition Workgroup name to the
name of an NT 4.0 domain name, and create a local user
account to match with a domain account, including the
password, will you be able to pass-through authenticate
and map a drive to a share on the NT 4.0 server from the
XP Home pc ? Or do you absolutley need to upgrade to XP
Pro edition ?

I don't think so because XP Home Edition cannot log onto a domain.
