Hi,

I want to access the whole directory structure of my laptop and vice versa,
not just a few miserable folders.

Is there any way of doing this with the limited 'workgroup' facilities of
Home XP?

thanks,

David

Have you gone to my computer and then right click properties and
choose tab sharing and place check marks to share this folder and allow
network users to share my files. I check mark both.

Any admin user (i.e. have UID, password, which match an admin user on
your PC) can map your whole disk (or disks) using the hidden shares C$,
D$, E$ etc. I assume that works on XP Home, it works everywhere else.

GSV:

Home only has the IPC$ hidden admin share

Thanks for that info. As someone said in another thread, all these minor
differences are a real PITA.
