Hi, I'm a mac user switching to pc, so I'm REALLY new. Considering purchasing a computer with XP Home Edition installed. Will Office XP Professional run ok on it?

Yes, as long as it is not the Mac version of Office XP.

need abit more info than you have supplied for example your intended pc purchase spec! but rule of thumb is if you will have home edition on, it will most likely run xp pro too, i run xp pro and helps if you have a home network running, as far as i have heard home edition will not allow you to run a network, but i will stand corrected and appreciate this if so,
