XP hangs with TV tuner card

Whenever, I try to run ATI's Multimedia Center (launchpd.exe), I am
given an error message that says, "AtiSServ failed to provide the
required interfaces." If I try to launch the TV app, my whole system
hangs. The mouse pointer doesn't even move and I have to do a hard
reset to reboot. I have the lastest drivers for my system.

AMD Athlon XP 1800
256MB RAM
Nvidea GeForce DDR
ATI TV wonder
Windows XP Pro

Anyone have any ideas what's wrong?

I was mistaken. I had downloaded the Catalyst 3.7 drivers, but had not yet
installed them. I installed 3.7 this morning, and have not had a TV lock-up
since.
