XP Google Desktop Search

Anyone have any feelings about using the Google desktop search? I was unable
to install it due to a conflict with Internet Download Manager. I was told
by a friend there were also security issues?

I had problems with it too so I opted for just the Google Toolbar in IE6 it
has some neat features and has proven reliable.
