We reformatted my machine here at work about 2 months ago to gain some
performance.
DELL Optiplex GX620, 250 GB HDD, 3.4 GHz P4, 1.5 GB RAM
Windows XP Professional, Service Packed with SP3
Periodically throughout the day, my PC now hangs (locks up, freezes,
whatever you want to call it) for about 30 seconds. Very Irritating!
I have run numerous RAM checking programs, and my RAM seems fine. After some
time, my PC always releases control back to me.
We have corporate TrendMicro antivirus, but if it is causing this problem -
well, it did not cause it before I did the hard drive format.
How do I figure out what is causing this?
