ANOTHER HELP, IF I MAY.....
In my network, (10 XPs on a workgroup A), it exists a server (2003
standard) in a domain C, for file and printer server.
But, only 4 of the computers are "domain\user-administrator-rights
passworded" to access the files in the server. for security. and, use
the printer.
we don't access the server via logon. only directly to the files, via
password.
BUT, the first access to te server takes a minute or more to respond.
All Pc's has their own static IP, and have only TCP/IP protocol.
however, once connected, the transfer is OK, but if there's no
tranfers in a while, the next access takes a minute again, it happens
either for a file or the printer
is there a way to speed that first access?
thanks a lot.
