XP firewall problem..

Can anyone tell me why the Windows firewall keeps turning itself off? Every
time I turn the computer on I have to change the setting back to the
recommended on setting, before starting the dial-up. I do not know why this
is happening.

have a firewall on my system Windows firewall. I have just gone on to
broard band and they recomended a bulldog firewall, it told me to remove the
windows one and just have the one firewall as two different firwalls cause
conflict,and it can cause the firwall not to work at all, as the widows one
is fine I have just stayed withthat, don, know it that will help ypur problem.
