I am using the fax console in Windows XP to keep track of faxes
received. When a fax comes in, I set the console so that it prints out
and keeps a copy in the inbox. However, the faxes I receive don't
always show up in the inbox. For example, when I checked this morning,
the last fax I see was received on july 10th, and I know I received
others since then, including 2 this morning. Why is it so unreliable?
I don't know if it has anything to do with this problem, but the fax
I'm using is a Brother MFC 9700, and we have a lot of problems with it
that are only solved by unplugging it and replugging it. Could that be
why the fax console doesn't pick up the faxes received?
And is there a way to organize faxes received in the fax console other
that listing them by date received or by fax number? I'd like to be
able to set up folders so classify them.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.
