xp explorer/mycomputer not recognizing slave hard drive

I recently installed a hard drive identical to the master to be used as
a back up. Everything went well, even using Western Digital software to
make the copy. Went well except for one thing, XP explorer does not
recognize the new drive. It is recognized every where else i.e. Norton,
Western Digital, Windows System Tools.

Win95 had the feature where you could set the last drive letter.
Thinking this may be the problem I searched for that feature in XP to no
avail.

Anyone have thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Jerry Clasby

Does the drive show in Disk Management? Do you see anything unusual there
such as a "foreign" disk?
